Hi Iam 20 years old and I have noticed for the past 2 years my hairline receding and recently my hair has started to become thinner on top. I have been using regaine but it hasnt really done too much. I have been reading about propecia but the only thing putting me off is the cost. I have heard of a drug called Proscar which is basically the same as Propecia but has a higher dosage and you have to divide the tablet up.
Has anyone in the UK used proscar or managed to get a prescription from their doctor for proscar instead of paying the ridicolous price for propecia?
Thanks

Check with Medical Specialists if they still do Proscar. They did it a few years ago but I am not too sure about now.

For male pattern baldness, the same company manufactures 1mg tablets sold under the name of PROPECIA.

I think you don't need to to take any medication without the prescription of the Doctor.
