My bangs are thinning out

Postby EG93 » Wed Nov 26, 2008 3:10 am

Hello,

i know this may sound odd, but i am somewhat embarrassed to be posting such an article. But i am even more embarrassed from what is going on in my life. I assume you know that this is about my hair-loss. It came extremely fast and got a jump on me. I turned 20 about 2 weeks ago.

Today the top of my head (i don't know the exact term) and my bangs are quite thin.

Considering i'm into the whole indie and skate scene, i usually have my hair longer. This is already a problem considering that the only way i can wear my hair now is parted far to the side. And even then there is a noticeable gap between my bangs and my sideburns.

I have been taking Propecia (aka Finasteride) for about 6 weeks now. I know Propecia fills in hair and is proven to work in many cases. My big concern is, will my bangs fill back in? Or am i stuck with only a hair transplant as my only option?

Any answers, hair care tips, or anything would be greatly appreciated. These days i am horrifically depressed everytime i look in the mirror. I think of my hair as an important part of how i look.

Thanks in advance.
