Will the hair transplantation become a thing of the past?

Hair Transplantation seems to be the only treatment option for so many people but still many can only dream of it. The world is waiting for change in hair loss treatment, a change that is easy, affordable and potentially flawless.

The UK based Intercytex seems to bring a totally new and revolutionary hair treatment method that is less problematic and reduces the trauma suffered by the patient dramatically. The ICX-TRC procedure which is in research phase at the moment, uses cell therapy and cloning for hair treatment....

Aside from hair restoration surgery, there's not really a full proof way to regrow lost hair. However, there's a number of ways to prevent future hair loss. Propecia is a great drug, but woman shouldn't touch it. Rogaine (Minoxidil) is also supposed to be good for regrowing some hair and stopping more hair from falling out.

I've read about the hair cloning elsewhere, it'd be amazing if it works :shock: , we can but hope!

But you know what these new genetic technologies are like, there's nearly always some unforeseen problem that stops them delivering, oh well, here's hoping one day, in the mean time, Minoxidil for me!
