Are there any propecia alternatives with no side effects?

Propecia was originally marketed for prostate problems in men and the increased hair growth was a side effect. Admittedly Propecia has a lot of less desirable side effects such as a lowering in sex drive, which some other forums say could be permanent.....so be careful!

The alternatives are numerous and include minoxidil lotion or many shampoos and supplements. But I don't know of another tablet for hair loss.

Give Saw Palmetto a try. It can't hurt. Some even recommend Beta Sis which is more potent than Saw Palmetto. If it doesn't produce the same results, you can always switch back to Propecia.

If it does not have side effects then it is ok.

Drugs marketed with therapeutic use have side effects of course just like propecia. If you prefer having no side effects take natural supplements that have no therapeutic claims. They are marketed with no harmful effects in our body.
