The FDA has not approved Ketoconazole (Nizoral is a trade name) for hair loss, only for the treatment of dandruff and dermatitis onthe scalp. Does not mean it does not help, just that more tests need to be done.
From speaking to a number of men with androgenetic alopecia, Nizoral can be incorporated into a regime, it may particularly help if you suffer from some sort of inflamation of the scalp as some alopecia sufferers do. The healthier the scalp, the more the minoxidil can penetrate in.
But if your scalp is relatively healthy, then minoxidil and propecia will be just fine, i'd rather you save your cash to pay for the minoxidil and propecia as they're expensive enough!!
