Time to give in to hairloss?

I'm 30 and started noticing hairloss 3 years ago.
At the time; and being incredibly naive, I took a programme of hair recovery treatment at a well known institute.
After 6 months of this treatment that consisted of laser/minox/herbal tablets I noticed a great improvement.
This bizarrely then reverted back in the last 2 months of the programme to the point where it was back where started.
I was very careful to follow the programme. I guess my body had ramped up it's desire to get rid of my hair!

On advice I purchased a laser hair comb that I have been using ever since.

I've noticed a consistent and steady hair loss mainly affecting the front of my hairline and some on my temple

I tried using Propecia for 8 months but have just stopped due to again seeing no noticeable results/stabilisation but more noticeably an increase in my weight without any change in diet/lifestyle. I also found myself losing an amount of labido.

The other problem is cost. I have spent a small fortune without any noticeable results and am obviously hugely disappointed and am very fearful of any further products. How do other people manage financially?
I also feel from my experience there is a huge lack of sincerity in this world
I still hate losing my hair though!

Any advice as to what to do minus suggestions of surgery would be very greatfully recieved.....

Hi Skipper

After reading your comments, I would have to say that you are going to have to get used
to losing your, Bar having hair transplants.

Propecia can grow hair back in some men but in most cases it stops further hair loss.
But as you have said your hair is still falling out i wouldn't start trying any more remidies or
treatments like the lazer comb which in my opinion is a load of rubbish.

The only company or treamtent I would recomend waiting for is at following link http://www.intercytex.com/icx/products/ ... ic/icxtrc/

This company has been given grants from the goverment to clone hair. They state they are in the third trial phase for testing and you can even put your self forward for this through there website.

They also state hair cloning shoud be ready for market by 2010.

I hope this helps.

just be extra careful for your hair, its time to be careful now, try some good products, or consult to a expert.

The only other mainstream thing you haven't tried is Minoxidil, I use it myself, and whilst I've only been using it for a month so haven't had much of a result, plenty of people do.

That Laser comb is a scam, they say it's FDA approved because it has an import licence from the FDA, which only means it's as effective as they're old combs, which were also useless. I don't know how they get away with such rubbish!
