Im 19 - My story.

Im 19 an I've noticed for maybe a year now that i'm losing my hair.

When I was it it notice that a lot of hair falls out and i notice my hair falling out all the time its on my clothes, pillow, keyboard, when i wax/gel it etc. I blowdry my hair in the morning and straighten it to make seem like it has more volume.

I have a noticeable bald spot (its not huge, around about the size of a 5p coin but its really defined and noticeable.

I notice my hair getting thinner each day and its starting to get a bit upsetting (i know that might sound silly but its true)

Ive tried different vitamin tablets ( E, B, D, C ) which I read are good for healthy hair and ive been using c1 caffine shampoo for a couple of months but havnt noticed any change what so ever.

I've heard about Propecia and regain/rogain. Ive read about them and how they are the only products which are known for hair loss prevention. I would like to try Propecia but I don't know how you get it, Do I have to go to my normal doctor or do I need to visit a private doctor? - Im not too sure how it works.

Also I'm worried about any side effects I might get from taking something like this, Is it OK for a 19 year old to take? and has anyone here taken/are on propecia and would they reccomend it?

Hope someone could help me out - thanks.

Propecia is a brand of Finasteride which is used for early male pattern baldness. If I were you consult your doctor first prior to taking this drug. It has serious side effects like decrease libido, impotence breast tenderness. This is normal but could be dangerous if you are allergic or contraindicated with this drug.

I think you should contact a dermatologist about your matter and discussed in details how you hair falls from the start and what you have used so for to prevent it , if you wouldn't satisfied then you can consult hair transplant specialist Pakistan for this.
