Hair cloning, sometimes referred to as tissue culturing or hair multiplication, has the ability to regrow hair in locations where baldness or thinning hair has occurred. In order to promote new hair development, dermal papilla cells are taken from healthy hair follicles, multiplied in a lab, and then implanted into the balding areas. Although it is currently in the experimental stage, studies indicate that this approach may provide a long-term remedy for hair loss.
